This weekend is the Holy Theatre's Open to Persuasion mini conference, and I plan to attend every single session. The first one starts on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, at 4pm EDT. We welcome Bharat Tandon speaking from the UK and moderator Michele Kling, a fellow JASNA NY member.

He is the author of Jane Austen and the Morality of Conversation (2003), the editor of Emma: an Annotated Edition for Harvard University Press, and has contributed to the Cambridge Companions to both Pride and Prejudice and Emma. He gave the Carol Medine Moss Lecture at the 2016 JASNA AGM in Washington, DC, and was a judge for the Man Booker Prize for Fiction in 2012.
