Do You Love Tangible Jane Mail?

Posted by Jennyvi Dizon on

If you're like me, I love getting Jane Austen surprises of any kind. Whether it's something physical I can hold on to or a new fact, I appreciate the reminder of what Jane has done for the world. For me, seeing anything Jane Austen related reminds me that I am not alone and the postcard I received today is proof of that.

Below is a very special postcard from my friend Sarah Rose Kearns. It's not every day that you get airmail from England and have it come from Jane Austen's House Museum in Chawton. The card reads: "Dear Jennyvi, Thank you so much for all your hard work on behalf of The Holy Theatre. I'm delighted to have gotten to know you, and so glad to have you in my beloved JA Community." The photos include Jane Austen's writing table, a replica of her tent bed, piano, and restored kitchen.
I love Jane Mail
Don't forget about the event I will emcee on Saturday.
